Things I would like for Christmas!

Honestly I do not want a lot this year! Living in a small bungalow kind of puts a stop to purchases considering we only have 2 closets! However that does not stop me from wanting a few things from one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie.

That's "Hello" in Thai! So HELLO friends, long time no talk!! As many of you may know, I have been out of the country for a little while. I was in Thailand, my long awaited magical place and it was amazing!! To read the prequel click here. It was one of those vacations that I wish I could hit the rewind button on. The food was amazing, the people were so kind and I got to see and do some really amazing things! While I have about 2,000+ pictures to go through, I will leave you with a few!

Today I would also like to wish my Mom a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Life Lately!

Morning friends!! Today I thought I would do a little recap of what I have been up to lately! 
I would also like to wish my cousin Sarah a very Happy Birthday!!! I'm so glad I got to see her and my cousins a few weekends ago! We had the best time!!! 

Dry Comal Creek was so cute and I cannot wait to open some of the bottles I brought back home for the holidays!!! 

I attended an event at St. Genevieve and I actually ran into one of my 2nd cousins, Kristen!! Talk about a small world!

I have been spending lots of time with my Boo Bear!!

Riley has been going through a lot lately, I will touch on that more next week. 
Halloween was fun! 

 We went to the UH game! Our season ticket seats are pretty awesome!!

I took a picture with my college chemistry teacher and I was an element, even more awesome!

My Magical Place

I have been waiting a long time for this.....

I will finally be traveling to place I have been dreaming about for 10+ years. THAILAND! 
It all started with a picture I found 10 years ago in a doctors office. It was of a floating lantern festival and from that moment on I knew I just had to get there.  I cannot even begin to tell you how much research I have done over the years on this. I am seriously beyond excited as this is one of my biggest dreams coming true. I have read anything and everything about traveling there and I have actually cried several times while doing research.....happy tears of course, while looking at pictures of the people, the land, food, beaches, temples.... you name it. I may not know Thai or anyone who lives there, but there is something about this place that I connect with. Something that is so indescribable about a place that I have never been, but I strongly feel the need to be there. I can just say that this trip could have not come at a better time! Perfect timing, but most importantly a long time dream of mine is coming true. We all have a lot of things that just never go right for us and after a lot of ups and downs, I'm doing something very right and feeling so blessed.
Has anyone else been to Thailand?! Any tips?!

Still a great weekend in Houston!

Happy Monday Friends!! While Houston had a rough weekend in football  it was still a great weekend! Got to see lots of friends, have some cake and eat it too! I'm loving fall!!
