The Christmas Capital of Texas

Last week I decided I would dedicate this week to Christmas, but before I get going I just wanted to express my condolences for the community of Sandy Creek Connecticut.
Sending lots of thoughts and prayers their way a this time.

A few weeks ago I had a work conference in Grapevine, TX. I was there the week before Thanksgiving and Christmas was out like I have never seen before! Grapevine is the Christmas capital of Texas and I believe it! There are decorations all over town! From street light corners to Main St. to hotels, they truly love Christmas!!

The first hotel I stayed at was the Great Wolf Lodge! If you have little ones this a do not miss! This place is so stinking cute! There is an indoor water park and lots of activities!

Made it to Main St.
Some very good shopping places!

I stayed the rest of the week at the Gaylord Texan......this place was beautiful!
Right now they are also featuring ICE! featuring DreamWorks' Merry Madagascar!
Everything was made in ICE! It was so cool and cold!
Ice slides, why not!

There are several restaurants in the hotel and they are all amazing!!
Made a stop to the gingerbread house to shop, I'm really 5 if you did not already know!

Tomorrow all bloggers can participate in a day of silence.
On Tuesday, December 18th, there will be a blogger day of silence.
We will post the button and that's it. Please try to not post anything else that day if possible.
