Zoo Lights Preview

After a week long conference all I wanted was a relaxing weekend with friends and fun! Saturday we went to our friends daughter's 2nd birthday! We had a great time celebrating and hanging out with Sophia and Elmo!

Last night I was invited to the Zoo Lights preview party by my zoo organization. This is the first time the Houston Zoo is having this and I think everyone is going to love it! The lights are gorgeous, you watch the Polar Express in 4D and there is great music playing throughout the Zoo to get you into the holiday season!

I tried to make sure we missed the reptile house, but Greg loves to go there. It is no secret that I'm really afraid of snakes, big or small I'm a wimp and freak out! Even the Harry Potter snake creeps me out!

I'm glad this was the last stop of the night...do you see how brave I look?! I think a few drinks also do the trick!

If you are in or around the Houston area you must check out Zoo Lights!!  It is such a different view of the Zoo at night with everything all lit up! A lot of the animals are pretty active too! Zoo Lights starts on November 23rd and each evening you can experience these wonderful lights from 6 p.m.-10 p.m.
