Thankful Times!

I wish I could rewind to last Thursday! I had a great Thanksgiving with my family in North Austin!
Some cute little pilgrims!
The Texans game got pretty intense, but we WON!
We celebrated my parents anniversary!
My dad and his siblings!
Cousins!
I love these two so much!!
Cousin fun! Sarah, Seth, Me and Heather!
Watching the sunset!
Seth!
Abby!
We stayed up until midnight playing dominoes and having a great time! So much fun!

Saturday was the last UH game at Robertson Stadium!
One of the player proposing to his girlfriend! She said YES!
I had so many mixed emotions about this game. I was so sad to say goodbye to the stadium I had cheered and partied at for almost 10 years, but I'm excited about what the future will bring!
Sharon and I
Greg and I
Lights out at Robertson one last time!
Thankful for all the memories!!

Thankful Thursday - Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving, a day to be thankful for many things. I'm so thankful for my family, friends, Riley Boo Bear and all of the food that will come today! I'm excited to see a lot of my family members today as we have not gathered together in quite some time. For those going shopping tonight or in the morning, be careful! For those who are cheering on their favorite teams today, maybe the best team win (GO TEXANS)!

I would also like to say Happy Anniversary to my parents today!!

Have a great holiday weekend everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Fall Trail Mix

I'm always down for some scooby snacks so when I saw this idea from make bake celebrate, I knew I wanted to try it for Thanksgiving! For the original recipe click here!
I decided to come up with my own creation!

Ingredients

4 cups Corn Chex® cereal
4 cups Rice Chex® cereal
2 cups mixed nuts
2 cups pretzels
2 cups Cheez-it's
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Dash of salt

Directions

  1. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
  2. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on foil, wax paper or paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

I ended up adding some candy to a few of the bags that I know my cousins will enjoy!
